FLOAT - SOFTEN - REMEMBER -

Join Sama and Jenine for a luxurious floating sound journey — a collaboration that continues the magic of our Sound Cocoon events, now held upon the water.

When you arrive, we’ll take time to ground, arrive fully, and connect as a group, creating a soft and intentional beginning before we float. You’ll then be guided onto the water, lying back on floating mattresses with blankets, neck pillows, and eye masks to support a deeply restful experience.

As you float, you’ll be bathed in a live soundscape of gongs, singing bowls, chimes, ocean drum, and gentle percussive tones, played across the surface of the water.

It is said that water remembers — that it carries the imprints of emotions, environments, energy, and experiences.

Just like our own bodies, made mostly of water, the surface we float upon amplifies sound in a way that resonates not only through the physical body, but also into the subtle and emotional layers of our being.

The vibrations move through the water and into you — inviting deep relaxation, emotional release, and the softening of what no longer needs to be carried.

As the sound journey comes to a close, we’ll gently return to shore and gather for a warm cup of ceremonial cacao and optional sharing. This simple closing ritual offers space to integrate and connect before heading home.

How Does Sound Healing Work?

Tibetan singing bowls and gongs gently shift your brain into alpha (light meditation, daydreaming) and theta (deep meditation, REM sleep) frequencies. These states unlock:

Subconscious access

Unlock your hidden mind to release deep-seated emotional blocks, rewriting limiting beliefs at their root.

Profound inner peace

A stillness beyond thought—where mental noise dissolves into pure presence, and the body exhales into calm.

Heightened creativity

Your intuition flows unrestrained: ideas ignite like constellations, and solutions arise from unexpected depths.

FAQ

  • You will be immersed in a live soundscape of gongs, crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, ocean drums, chimes, soft percussion, and other soothing instruments — all carefully curated to harmonize with the water's energy.

  • Ceremonial cacao is a pure, gentle plant medicine known to open the heart and deepen emotional connection. For those who wish to experience it, cacao will be offered after the sound journey as a grounding and heart-opening closing ritual. If you prefer to skip it or have dietary sensitivities, you are welcome to simply enjoy the main event without participating in the cacao ceremony.

  • Absolutely! No experience is needed. Just lie down, breathe, and let the sound guide you.

  • The water will be very calm, and the floating experience is designed to be grounding and soothing. However, if you feel discomfort at any time, a facilitator will be nearby to assist you. You can always choose to experience the sound bath from the poolside if needed.

  • We will provide the floating mattresses. Participants should bring the following:

    • A blanket, small pillow, or towel

    • An eye pillow, eye mask, scarf, or hat to cover the eyes

    • Clothes they don’t mind getting wet

    • A spare set of clothes, just in case

Participants can float fully clothed (with socks removed). While we aim to keep you dry, there is a chance you may get wet.
