Resonance: A weekend to slow down, reconnect and create space for yourself.

Set amongst the lush gardens and peaceful surroundings of Okuti Gardens, Resonance Retreat is a two-day summer retreat weaving together yoga, sound, rest, nourishing food, numerology and time in nature.

Across the weekend, we’ll explore different ways of coming back into connection with ourselves — through movement and stillness, sound and silence, curiosity and reflection.

There will be practices to join, spaces to rest, beautiful food to share and, importantly, time where there is nothing you need to be doing at all.

This is an invitation to step away from the busyness of everyday life, spend time in nature and enjoy two days dedicated entirely to yourself.

Saturday — Explore & Discover

We’ll begin our weekend together with morning yoga in the gardens.

For those wanting a more active start, there will be an earlier Vinyasa-inspired practice to move, breathe and awaken the body, followed by a slower practice weaving together restorative yoga, myofascial release, Yin and sound.

You’re welcome to join one or both, depending on what feels right for you.

After a nourishing brunch, we’ll move into a special numerology workshop with Sandy Atkins.

WHO AM I? Discover Yourself Through Numerology

A Creative & Interactive Workshop with Sandy Atkins

Have you ever wondered what your numbers might reveal about you?

In this relaxed, interactive and creative workshop, Sandy will guide you through the numbers connected to your name and date of birth.

You’ll explore your Core Numbers and the insights they can offer into your personality, natural gifts, motivations, opportunities and challenges.

You’ll bring these discoveries together by creating your own Personal Numerology Profile Poster — a meaningful keepsake to take home and continue exploring.

Sandy’s approach to numerology isn’t about predicting the future. It’s about understanding ourselves more deeply, recognising our natural gifts and becoming curious about the possibilities available to us.

No experience is needed, and you don’t need to be artistic or good at maths — just bring your curiosity.

An Afternoon to Yourself

Following the workshop, the afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace.

Wander through the gardens, find a quiet place to rest, enjoy afternoon tea or book yourself a massage with one of our visiting therapists.

There is no expectation to do anything at all.

You might feel like connecting with others, spending time alone, reading a book or simply lying beneath the trees.

As evening arrives, we’ll gather for a nourishing dinner before settling into a beautiful evening sound journey.

Surrounded by the deep vibrations of the gongs and gentle layers of sound, this will be an opportunity to lie back, soften and allow the experiences of the day to settle.

A peaceful way to close our first day together.

Sunday — Rest & Receive

Sunday will intentionally move at a slower pace.

We’ll begin with a deeply restorative morning practice, weaving together Yin yoga, supported restorative postures and sound.

A spacious morning to slow down, release tension and reconnect with yourself.

After a leisurely brunch, the afternoon opens up for you to simply be.

Wander through Okuti’s gardens. Find a quiet spot beneath the trees. Read, journal, lie in the grass, connect with others or enjoy some time completely to yourself.

Afternoon tea will be available, with plenty of space to follow your own rhythm.

Our Closing Practice

Later in the afternoon, we’ll come together for our final practice, weaving together gentle breathwork and sound.

We’ll close our weekend with a sharing circle, offering a little time to reflect on the experiences of the past two days and what we might like to carry forward into our everyday lives.

A gentle ending to a weekend of exploration, connection and rest.

A Relaxed Farewell Dinner

For those who would like to stay a little longer, we’ll finish with a relaxed farewell dinner together in the gardens.

There’s no rush to leave. You’re welcome to linger, enjoy the company and slowly make your way home when you’re ready.

The dinner is included in your retreat experience, although you’re welcome to depart after our closing circle if you need to head home earlier.
